My budget and what I want to produce (of course this also depends on the females that will be paired to that male.)

Ya budget is not unlimited unfortunately. I'm hoping to stay around $750 maybe less, but I also am looking for absolute best quality for breeding purposes.

I love the enchi fire and I think it owuld be ideal, but not sure I can swing the price tag... I think something with fire is a must right now and for females to pair him to in the future, I'm thinking maybe just like a lesser, enchi, and then maybe a recessive, maybe clown or axanthic...

I'm kind of leaning toward the firefly or fire yellowbelly, I think I can pick a really nice example of the morph for my budget... thoughts anyone?

Just depends on what you want to do. :)
I voted fire yellowbelly, because I like what I've seen fire do to different morphs (based on pictures, haven't seen one in person yet, at least not that sticks out in my head), and the yellowbelly seems to combine nicely with pastel too.

Second choice would be maybe a pewter... I don't know what pastel combined with pewter looks like, but a pewter bred to a normal (since you mentioned also having normal girls to breed) could give you mojave, cinnamon, and pewter, which in my opinion are nice morphs. I personally am not a fan of yellowbelly or fire by themselves, but I do like cinnamon and mojave, so I like those possibilities better. But it is all a matter of personal opinion and preferences!

Just a heads up, a pewter is a pastel cinnamon, not a mojave cinnamon.

That's right! I misspoke. Going to blame it on lack of sleep... (late night, then baby wake me up crying every hour... you get the picture!)

Another option I was thinking was maybe cinnamon lesser... Make some pewter lessers... they are pretty sweet I think. But I really think I need ot have either enchi or fire in him...

thank you everyone for posting and commenting, it is much appreciated.

    Thanks,

Out of what you listed, I'd go with Fire Yellowbelly. Lots of potential there! There is a lot you can do with $750 and a Pastel female. Like others have said, anything with Fire/Vanilla, YB, and/or Enchi you can't go wrong right now!

The fire is not really cool on it's own unless you get a very above average one. You need a vanilla to unlock it. The vanilla is very much like a fire but I think it's a better version.
