I wouldn't say that those creases are a problem :] Its like when you lay in one place for to long and your skin is pressed up on something like a pencil or a wrinkled up piece of paper, it leaves an indent in your skin but it goes away eventually.

Hook training a boa isn't a bad thing and is very much possible like you have heard, but I personally think hand handling a boa is better, you get to know the snake better that way, I only really like handling a snake by hand is because my boa loves to climb onto my head and nest in my hair xD Its really cute, well for right now, when shes bigger I don't think it will be acceptable.

He is very beautiful and looks like a wonderful boy to have around :] Good luck with your hook training! And have fun with your boa ^-^

    They will love it.

That was a tree trunk we got and hubby then added branches to it with screws so they'd have a nice horizontal perching spots.

It's mounted on a board base so it can't fall over.

Some people get old Christmas tree stands [the ones with metal screws that go in the trunk] and put big tree branches in them.

That works really well and is much easier to make.
