Jeanne GET IT!!! :) I LOVE my Sprocket to death. She LOVES being held and will actually put up quite a fuss sometimes when goin back into her tank. She's never hissed or struck at me, and about once a month I gently open her mouth to check and make sure all is well (no rot or nothin) and she cooperates fully everytime.

I need to get Sprocket a boyfriend tho so I can make lil baby Sprockets :) Hopefully in the next 3-4 months I'll be able to get her a b/f of breeding age so I can breed this fall and have lotsa BCI's :) Already worked out the breeding program and its gonna go full swing as soon as I get a male BCI.

Good luck with gettin urs... you won't regret it :)

You can keep them in rubbermaids their whole life, except for most females, which are probably too large for a RM.

Hi :) Here (in the next window) is a pic of my BCI's to let you get a feel for the size you're in for. I love these guys and for the most part they are gentle. This picture is two BCIs, the larger (brighter) one is the female, and the smaller (darker) one is the male. They are awesome, and she is probably gonna be a mother within a couple months!
