    Thanks guys .... I think I've got my mind made on a Surinam female both for size and I love the blood red color and I want it to keep it.... Although trying to find hatchlings are proving a bit difficult to find without having to actually call breeders.

    I love the Suris, they and Peruvians would be my go-to snakes for a BCC if I was in the market for them. I love my Argentines too (I have a visual T pos and a 100% het for future breeding) but I say good choice with a BCC. Check Kingsnake Classifieds and Fauna Classifieds for snakes and check the seller's rep on Fauna's Board of Inquiry before purchasing.

    I will do that.... Fauna seems to be a really hard site to navigate... does anyone have tips to make my searching easier.... i cant even find a search bar on their site

    Got my Suriname Male from Vin Russo at the White Plains show. BCC tails are awesome!!! Good choice. Remember feeding a BCC is a little more conservative than BCIs are in general as BCCs are more prone to regurgitation issues.

    Vin told me to also use chlorine free water in their drinking bowls and to maintain proper humidity with some sphagnum moss as they can regurg hair balls from prey items.
