IMO, If you got plenty of family members and friends... Have them call and make a report. The r.s.p.c.a are gonna have to notice.Since they might get to annoyed with the phone calls.. They'll go take a look sooner or later... Or call the store ask to speak to the owner. Tell them, you didn't like what you saw. And if things don't change . That you'll file a complaint to who ever you could. Just B/S it.. .. They'll soon use the broom to sweep the floor again...Know what i mean, jelly bean...

Since it's obvious tyhat they have an in with the local animal protection folks, it's time to alert the media! There's nothing that a local news station likes better than smearing someone for animal cruelty AND uncovering goverment agency favoritism in the same story!

Trouble is, it wasn't Rex that saw this happen...it was just some anonymous person posting on the 'Net. It might not even be true...just a play for attention. Regardless though, any good advice on how to deal with the situation is somewhat moot, as it doesn't involve anyone we know.

Yes...people suck sometimes. The world is full of idiots who would hit snakes with broomsticks...or kill them just for daring to exist. The world is also full of people who hit children with broomsticks...or kill them just because they exist. But let's not forget that the world is also full of people like Rusty who give everything they have to rescuing abused and neglected reptiles. And full of people who would lay down their own lives to save a child.
