Wasn't looking for a snake at all when I went to the reptile show. I walked in for sphagnum moss and frozen mice. Left with both those things.
Aaaaaaand this Spider Mojave from Chris Hall(Python Paintjobs)

Eh, my pied black pine snake is the closest to an impulse buy. I saw her on kingsnake when I was browsing for a suboc and just happened to check out the pines and bulls section for fun. Couldn't bring myself to close the tab for a couple days, and then did some quick research. Ended up getting a payment plan worked out and had her home shortly after. She's one of my favorite snakes now :D (and my only "pied" :P )

    In fact, yes I do!

    AMD A8-3870K 3.0GHz Quad-Core
    Gigabyte GA-A55M-DS2 Micro ATX FM1
    G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866
Apevia X-TRPJR-BK/450 ATX Mid Tower w/450W Power Supply

Just bought all that, for around $275 shipped to overhaul my eight year old tower. That's a new processor, motherboard to hold said processor, power supply to power everything, a case to put it all in and new RAM because the board won't take the current ram I have. A monster of a budget PC. Since I already two hard drives, Windows 7 Ultimate, and peripherals I'm getting a Hemi for the price of a 2 cylinder. ;)

50 lb bag of flour at Costco. For real.
Why would anyone who doesn't own a bakery buy a 50 lb bag of flour? Because I had the $12 and I wanted to make a loaf of bread, that's why.

That was in the spring. I still haven't made that bread.

The laptop served me pretty well but I probably would've gotten something more modest if I'd given myself more time. The kittens have since grown into 17-18lb twin monster cats but I love 'em dearly.

^ That's awesome! I'm not really a cat person at all but I'd love to get a Maine Coon if I weren't allergic.

I bought a guitar after I was in a car crash and nearly died. Always wanted to learn to play, had a helluva wake-up call during that with how finite life is, so I bought one and am patiently torturing anyone within hearing attempting to learn to play it, lol! :D

I'm horrible about impulse shopping. I buy Blu-Rays like they're going out of style. I pretty much can't walk through a Best Buy or Walmart without picking up at least 2 or 3 (sometimes 7 or 8) movies. My biggest impulse buy this year was my 55" LG Cinema 3D TV. I was walking through Best Buy one day just to kill time and I started looking at the 3D TV displays. About an hour and two stores later, I was on my way home to swap cars so I could pick up a big TV. Then I had to go home and figure out what to do with the perfectly good, one year old, 46" Samsung I already had.

Oh, second biggest impulse buy this year was my camera. Canon Rebel t3i that I HAD to have so I could take better snake pics...
