I'm not sure what it is, but if it's a normal, I've never seen one that bright :) very pretty regardless :)

I am seeing a really lovely bright normal.

If that were a fire, and I don't think it is, it's certainly not one I would want unless it was strictly a pet. It does not have the look you'd breed and pass on to it's offspring.

Here are a couple of my own babies, for comparison.

See the difference? No one would mistake one of my babies for a normal.

THAT being said, I do see a lot of potential in that little one, and you said you got it for free. Even as a normal, that baby has a lot to offer. For example, if the baby is a girl, grow her up and breed a good fire to her and make her babies even better than mine. Or put a lesser to her and grab your sunglasses.

If it's a boy, that is not necessarily a bad thing. Sure normal boys are a dime a dozen, but he could still bring a lot to the breeding game. I could see using him to enhance a number of genes, even double gene females. Take mojave for example, or even better a jigsaw. I would even put him to a kingpin, or even just a pinstripe to see how he brightens it up.

So, even though the baby is almost surely not a fire, he could still be a good animal to have. I just thought of something, that baby might just be a fire sibling. The normals from my fire clutch are much brighter than the average normal, so it's entirely possible it came from a fire clutch, hence why the person thought it was a fire.
