Yes, I have them turn on at 8:00 A.M. and turn off at 8:00 P.M. (12 hour day/night cycle)

If you only have 1 heat source that needs a thermostat I would recommend either the Herpstat intro + or the Herpstat 1.
The herpstat intro and herpstat 1 basic don't have a safety relay, The $10-$24 extra to get a model with a safety relay as well as a few other features is well worth it.
