i gave a steamer a try, i returned it and got my $100 back.
Temperature wasn't hot enough to completely sanitize, I think temps need to be at at least 200 degrees. Mine only hit 170ish degrees.
Then I had to wait for it to pressurize for a couple of minutes, after like 10 seconds of steam at the peak temperature.
It ended up being more trouble than anything.
