    Glad you liked New Orleans. It's too bad you didn't get to see what it was like before the Hurricane, it never really recovered fully. You picked a good year to move there! It was all a big mess not long before that.

    I can give you my solid no-axe-murdering Guarantee! Moving anywhere is at least a good year off for me right now, but if we're still in touch at that point and I find my way there an introduction to the area would be great! I'm torn on which department to apply to still, that's part of the reason I'm not doing anything immediately, I did a lot of micro in college, and a lot of biomechanics/functional morphology stuff too. I can't mix the two in any reasonable way so I'm going to have to make a decision before I do anything.
