It looks like a lot have been covered. Males are real cheap compared to females. Its funny how a male enchi for example is $100-$150, but a female is $500 - $550 on Fauna.

Looking forward to my first BP. I'm searching out a male on purpose. My Wife is good with the idea of owning a snake, so getting one that is at least 6" shorter, as to not make her more nervous, is worth it to me. I can honestly say I'll never try breeding, just want some bad-ass pets! I've kept Moray Eels & Lionfish in the past. Good enough for me.:cool:

Why didn't you say so? Why not just get a male Purple Retic ;-) I say male because the females tend to get a little bit larger and may frighten people because of their "I eat people" reputation :rolleye2:
