Re: Need some input from you fine folks
Not 100% sure about age, he said female was about a year or two and male is about 3. But she is about 2 feet and he is about 3.5 feet
Re: Need some input from you fine folks
That's a good jump on breeding. The male maybe able to go as early as next winter but the girl still has a couple years to go. Most things I've seen say 4-5 years for breeding with 5 being choice. I almost ordered a proven trio on KS for $500 shipped but decided I wanted more time handling these larger guys before jumping into breeding. Good luck with them. And let me know if you don't love them. I'll give them a home with me. Lol

So I was checking through the glass for any mites on the white paper not long ago , none by the way. And the male came out of the hide he was in and started to pace me against the glass acting very interested. I had asked when the last time they were fed was and was told" about a week ago or something" so I figured he might be hungry. I was right, he has eaten 3 mice so far and seems to be full because he just seemed curious about the fourth. I really didn't expect them to eat this soon but wow. The little girl is not interested at all though, she just stuck her head out looked at it and pulled back in. As I write this I am watching both of them, I left the mouse in with her it's an F/T I will pull it out in a couple minutes if she still doesn't eat. But I am very happy for him to have eaten this soon and also to see no mites as well. Gotta love that NIX

Sadly my friend I am not in my avatar pic. Those are the brave men who carried out the remains of my reptile collection in 2010 when my neighbor decided to burn down my house. Only 6 babies/sub-adults survived the blaze. The house was a total loss. :tears: I thank you for the duties you do for your community.

I am very sorry for your tragedy and for my mistake. And thank you, we do it because we can't not do it.
