    Ball pythons have recurved teeth that are designed to hang onto prey. The worst thing you can do is pull your hand away if his mouth is attached to it as the teeth will actually sink further in. Holding your hand with snake attached under water will generally get the snake to release within a few seconds...and , yeah, that's probably the nasiest bp bite I've ever seen...and I'm sure your snake is fine.

    Yeah, I know better than to pull away because of their curved teeth, but I completely panicked. I didn't even feel the pain of his teeth ripping, though I heard my skin go RRRRRRRRIP! lol!! It doesn't hurt hardly at all. I've had kitty scratches that were smaller and hurt WAY more. Poor baby--this one was completely on me. ):
