I had that problem in the beg of the month with my boa. I went looking for a BCI and saw a dumerils boa. i left and waited a half hour. went back up and got the dumerils. The owner of the store said a guy that saw the dumerils a week before called to see if it was still avaliable because he wanted to come get it. guess i lucked out with a beauty of a dumerils.

It is so hard deciding for me. I don't want to impulse buy or end up with something I don't really like, as I have before. I do want a new baby of course, but it is like I am torn. =/

This is the one thing I hate about being a BP loving freak. I can't find exactly what I want.

I wanted a bumblebee for a long time. I ended up getting a spider male and blonde pastel female to breed. Then after looking on the web found some bumble bees I liked. Then car issues. Now I have just my normal and albino instead of 2 spiders and 2 pastels plus these two. I just miss having more snakes especially a garage can snake who will eat anything as my normal is on a strike. =l

Speaking as someone who is hoping to add a BP to the home in the next year...
If you are looking for a future breeding animal, wait until you have some selection, so you can pick the best animal for your purposes. Might mean you spend more money, but would be so worth it in terms of the quality you might find instead.

If you are looking for strictly a pet and have no intention of ever breeding it ever, morph quality may not be such an issue, and you can afford to take advantage of deals when they happen. I don't know enough about the market to know what time of year that would be, but if breeders are trying to get rid of older stock now so they can free up space for upcoming hatches, now might be the time.

I can't tell you how many gorgeous animals I have seen and wanted to snatch them up... I'm trying to be a good girl and wait though...

I may wait. I have yet to decide. Going to talk it over with my boyfriend. May get a rack or another AP T8 cage first then add up my collection. I think I need something to pop out at me and say buy me buy me.

Oh, but I hate waiting too. =)
