    amazon prime members could get one in next morning for 3.99 shipping - just saying. But yes, the bigger answer would be go get a dimmer and work with what you have till a t-stat can be acquired to get the animal heated. My point was to simply ease the hate on hydrofarms. They are fine with a good IR gun.

    This. OP your smartest move is to run out to your local big chain pet store and get a simple reptiles specific T-stat or rheostat. I posted a link to one at Petsmart up a few posts ago. It will hold you over until you can get a proper thermostat.
