If your having heating problems i feel bad for you son, i got 99 problems and flexwatt aint one!
Good luck soldering it. The clips always worked fine for me but i used a vice to clamp 'em.

This is almost exactly the issues I had in my case the flexwatt was 100% fine the issue was the room temp was quite cool and the bottom was cooling faster than the flexwatt was heating it.
What is the ambient air temp?

Re: Flexwatt problems
ambient is fine. when the thermo kicks on the other two stop at 90 while the top one heats quicker and settles out to 99ish

the room ambient.

My room is cool the lower levels cool faster as heat rises in my case I had 17º top to bottom. If you want to see for sure flip the flexwatt the top to bottom bottom to top. Once the temp stabilizes the if it is still hotter at the top it is clearly not the flexwatt. This is what I found with almost the exact same result.

So i rewired it again and spliced the top one in with the sexond one. Completely reconnected everything. On a seperate plug than bottom one. Middle tub is 89. Top registers at 111. I really dont know what to do
