What's your guys' favorite Kevin Smith movie? I think mine is Mallrats, followed closely by Clerks.

Yeah actually that whole cast (the repeat characters from clerks through jay and silent strike back) are gone he did away with them in that movie and decided he's going to do other stuff rather than be pigeonholed into one type of comedy with one acting troupe. If you get a chance I HIGHLY recomend tracking down the DVD where he goes on college campuses and does interviews and takes questions from the audience it's real sweet and really gives you a good feel for the guy as well as his creative side. Also he clarifies his motives for Dogma and what he really meant to do. Tons of funny stories. My favorite Kevin Smith movie is mallrats and my all time favorite character is Brody (Jason Lee).
On a side note if you haven't seen it yet go out and rent or buy this instant The Blue Collar Comedy Tour - It's got Jeff Foxworth, Bill Engval, Ron White, and Larry the Cable Guy- Wasn't a big fan of any of theirs until I got the blue collar comedy tour DVD - it is AWESOME the whole family can watch it it's not real vulgar or anything pretty tame but hilarious none the less.

I think BPs can be boring but I think it also makes the times you catch them cruising or handle them that much more special :)

Yes. There is no other answer. They hide, and occasionally eat. They are pretty to look at, and fun to hold, but they are boring.

Bp are usualy more on the gentler side. But to answer you question, I once had 2 green anoles and boy were they active!

Yes bp's are boring compare to other animals, reptiles etc.
All they do is sleep and eat ( which has my 13yo son crazy cuz he thinks that is the life)
But when you handle them they are fun and interesting.
I can see that a glass tank is a waste on a bp because there is never anything to see :)

I am trying to figure out a good snake that would be a little more active and not hide so much, any suggestions?

Mine usualy come out at night, or even during the day. Either way I like glass tanks cuz you can see the envioment better. But that's just my opinion.

DOGMA is by far the best kevin smith flick, then mallrats.

It was just a thought as to maybe just give up on the cost of the glass tanks :)

My bp Goblin is out every night, slithering and climbing all over his cage like a madman. Octavia does the same thing every few nights, and the unnamed rescue case never moves; I think he has worn out one spot in the bottom of his rubbermaid by never moving from it, lol (and j/k.) But during the day, yeah, bps are boring. But when handled, and especially during feeding time, they are fun!

I find that I love boring animals....my Ball Pythons and my other snakes ( my Kenyan Sand Boas and my Rosy Boa ) are the perfect animals to suit my personality - they entertain themselves, they sleep a lot and make no noise, any time I want to play with them or show them off they are accomadating...if I dont feel like messing with them for several days (except to monitor their temps ) I dont have to screw with them....I think they are great. What would really drive me nuts is some kind of animal like a dog that you have to fiddle around with constantly...I aint into that kind of thing...at most a cat....I like cats because they are as aloof and unneeding of affection as I am...I am also into tarantulas too...they are the ultimate in pet rocks....probably a good thing I do not have any kids huh ????
