    I agree. My pastel het clown looks quite different from a regular pastel.

    Does hypo have any synergistic effects with het clown? I'm trying to buy a double het hypo clown male and wondering if I could hope for some hypo holdbacks that by looks I could improve on the 50% chance het clown.

    seems like maybe we should stop classifying clown and hypo as recessive..... yea try and convince the hobby of that. Yea some might be hard to tell, but look at any subtle morph we have, why are these different? Het Hypo appears to stand out a lot more than some of the subtle morphs.

    I don't know if they proved out, but the only possible het hypos I seen in person, there were brighter colored ones that I would suspect to be het hypo. I have heard from others they are easy to tell in a full clutch.

    I've worked with piebald and hypo and consider them both recessive with co-dominant tendencies but if I get him this will be my first time to work with clown. Thanks for all the info and the link!
