    I wish my mother had known about that. She thought turpentine was good for sore throats, followed by garling with warm salt water. Bleccchhh!!!!

    I don't remember exactly where I picked that expression up, but I do know it was a number of years ago. I'm curious if any of Jonah's folks will recognize it, too.

    I did a Google search, and did find a few references to the term: one, two (with an explanation of origin), three (in an imaginary conversation), and four (in an article about employee-from-hell types).
