    I don't think we can conclusively say one way or another. I have heard that pieds and calico/sugars throw varying amounts of white BUT I have also seen some of Justin Kobylka's videos in which he says his line of pieds tend to produce mostly low white. I believe in most cases it's probably random, but it might be something that could be line bred like it would appear the Justin's line was.

    I have heard the same about high white lines throwing more high white babies.
    It might be random, but according to a few who breed them, high whites tend to throw more high whites than low whites, and visa verse.

    I've only been producing pieds for 2 years, think about 21 so far. By far my two lowest white were from my last clutch this year. Same father produced medium to some pretty high white this year and the same mother with a different male last year didn't produce as low white as this year. I'm wondering if egg stress late in the incubating season might have played a part. Wondering a similar thing about the quality of genetic stripe pattern.
