    Can you seriously see eversion of sex organs during defecation? I had one of my corn snakes toilet trained at one point, as when I would take her out three days after feeding should would move around a bit and when I saw that she was flexing her stomach to break up what was about to pass I'd hold her over the toilet and she would go, I'd flush, and that was that! I never saw an eversion of anything, though, which is why I ask.

    I honestly have never in my life seen hemipenes come out as a snake was pooping. Females have little things that sort of "pop" out too, but they are a lot different than hemipenes. I believe they are scent glands. I would not be surprised if it was the "scent glands" you saw everted, and while the glands are usually white, I wouldn't be surprised to see them turn red during the straining to get the poop out!
