Genetic Issues in Rats?

I ended up getting 1 white hooded rex female, one almost solid peach colored female with a white belly, and 2 dumbo males. One dumbo has color over his head and in a thick stripe down his back and the other just has a little black half mask.

They're ridiculously cute and love riding around in my pocket :D

The peach female is doing a little open mouth gasping though so I put her separate and am hoping it's just dry in my house and the bedding I used wasn't dust free (getting less dusty aspen later).

Many of those markings can come from the hooded locus (including the blazes) so you may very well be safe. :)

I used to breed rats, and in the beginning I worked with a lot of markings. Had all kinds of pretty markings pop up, including some really amazing blazes. They came from the safe hooded locus, so no megacolon there.
