    Take extra note to the blushings on the face.

    This is my male I just got and I thought he was average as far as the pastel expression and no white on the head at all 400g. Yours really looks more like a super

    Oh man I'm no good at pastel g-stripes! It seems like it could be a super, but there are some plan old pastels that have really white heads so I don't know.

    Yeah, she'll be bred and well see what I can get from it. She'll go against a pastel G-stripe next season, if I get all pastels, I'll put her against a Lesser the following year. Rather not put her against a normal or something just to prove out the odds if I can prove out at least the likelihood without sacrificing much on the end product.

    Not saying that it isn't possible, but I find it HIGHLY unlikely that Brian would not be able to tell the difference between a Pastel/Super Pastel genetic stripe. He's made plenty I am sure and wouldn’t make a mistake like that. Your talking like a $1k difference in pricing. Unless someone else didn't know what they were doing and you got lucky.

    Im sticking to it's a superb pastel genetic stripe.

    We will just wait and see. . . I still can't see it as being just a normal Pastel Genetic Stripe unless there was absolutely no way it could've came out as a super. When it first arrived it was quite dull and the head was almost translucent. Now as its put on some good age, it's done nothing but gain tremendous color, and the head has remained fairly white / purple / pink with incredible yellow supercilliary lines. Again, only way to do anything about it is prove it out. But I've sent it to a few different big shots who have made suggestion that it's a super pastel, with one person pushing that it APPEARS to be a chocolate pastel genetic stripe (this was even before I told them it was from BHB, chocolate kings . . . ). We will see, she's not going anywhere from me that is for sure.

    Over the last 3 years I've produced 10 Super Pastel Genetic Stripes and they've all been males! I have yet to produce a female......

    Anyways, all of the Super Pastel Genetic Stripes I've produced have all been pretty much the same as far as looks go. Very bright, patternless sides and reduced stripe on the top. I think you have just a really nice Pastel Genetic Stripe.

    Here are some pictures of some Super Pastel Genetic Stripes;
