Yay, someone can see them! I'll still see about uploading them to Photobucket in a bit (like after 8:00 or so), just so folks don't miss them.

    And thanks -- I think they're adorable :D

Okay, here's hoping this works :)

    Scales (Nicky's snake):

    And my snake:

Here's the shot with a better view of her head, but for some reason Photobucket (which I've never used before so please bear with me) has rotated the picture a quarter turn. But if the pictures show up, I'll deal LOL

Thanks! I'm so psyched. Part of me wishes I'd already set up the enclosures so we could bring them home last night, but another part of me is kind of glad they're still at the reptile store, because we can visit them there a couple of times and play with them before they're home and in their "leave the snakes alone and let them get adjusted" phase.

I think we'll take more pictures as we're putting them in their little environments, then I won't harass them for a week :D

Awesome! Are you shooting for super cinnies down the road? I have a big female that I intend to use to try and produce super pewters with in the future. Also, you are an AWESOME mom! If I read that right the snakes are for you and your son, right? My mom always hated snakes and while I had pet herps before I was on my own I could never get a snake. You rock! LOL

LOL -- thanks! Yes, they're for me and my nine-almost-ten-year-old. His teenaged brother is somewhat less enthusiastic, but he doesn't dislike or fear reptiles, he's just not enthralled by them. And my husband's only request is that I don't ask him to live with birds :) So once Nicky started making noises about snakes I figured it was as good a time as any to give in to my reptile fascination and get over the skeeve-out factor with feeding them. I've now mastered the art of the Zombie Pinky Dance with the Kenyan sand boas, so we're forging on ahead.

We're absolutely considering super cinnies someday, but that will also depend on everyone's willingness to live in a reptile breeding zone, LOL. Baby steps ;)

Here's hoping the baby balls succumb to the Zombie Rat Dance. The reptile store is going to work on it before we bring them home, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
