After she has settled in for a week, offer a small rat. And by small, I mean a smallish small. See how she does with it. I don't think I'd jump right into a 5 day feeding schedule. That might be too much stress on her system, especially with the change in prey item. 7 days is the shortest I would go until you've gotten a few meals in her successfully without any regurges or other issues. If she can handle the smallish small rats, after 3-4 feedings maybe move up to larger small rats and so forth. As long as she continues to hold them down and put on weight, you should be able to gradually increase her prey size to suit her growth. But until she has eaten a few meals, I would leave her alone to rest and recuperate in proper husbandry conditions...which from the look of her I would guess she has been lacking. Poor baby.

The tub she's in is abt 15" in the pic. The first owner not who I got it from left rats in the cage when they fed that's why it's scared.

Wow, that poor baby. I would definately start slow. Small meals once a week. After several of those stay down, gradually start upping prey size, until you get her where she should be.

Is there any reasoning for everyone being so cautious...? Id be offering small rats every 5 days starting with today. The whole "you have to wait a week after bringing them home before you offer food" is a myth imo. As long as shes in a proper setup she'll feel secure and be fine. Sure, some still do refuse on the first day, none of mine ever have though. Maybe im just lucky, i doubt it.
EDIT: By small i mean id offer something the same thickness that she is in her fattest part.
