i just looked and the hot side is 87 and cool side is 78 i turned the heat up in the room hes in

Where is the thermostat probe? do you have any probed thermometers?

I suggest tossing the light, and getting an under tank heater, there are many threads for sizes and types, uth dont absorb so much humidity and can be less stressfull allowing more ambient light in, i suggest looking at a thread that is specific the UTH vs heat lamps
