I've heard of males going in the 300-400 gram range. 2012 was only my second season so take it for what its worth but seems that a little patience in growing you animals a bit more is safer for them and will overall be more productive in the future. I had a male enchi and super pastel each at 600+ grams last season and neither went. My Hypo mojave and pastel yellowbelly males were each about 850-900 grams and produced their first season. Pastel YB fathered 3 clutches. Good luck

I'm not personally doing the breeding. I trust the guy he's going to and I'm fully confident in his abilities and that he will keep an eye on him while I'm not there. We've also agreed that if he stops feeding, he's coming home...no questions asked. I would rather him be healthy than trying to force him to produce. I -personally- will be hopefully breeding him next season once my girls are up to weight. We just wanted to see if he would breed for a 2013 clutch because we both want to see some pastel lessers. Next season, he'll be paired with my normal and possibly my spider.
