    I understood you were implying that water would neutralize the toxin. Which is not the case with pyrethroids (part of the reasons for the spreading bans on them). It can be carried in water and ingestion is very bad. I agree with everything thing you stated but this I felt as the consequences are so severe that being clear about why water bowls need to be removed was important.

    On a second side note it must NOT be used around CATS they are very susceptible to Permethrin poisoning.
