Well i mean it could be a good thing in lower class neighborhoods. I wouldnt say its absurd.

Maybe if it's a bad neighborhood with a lot of crime. Overall, doing it just makes me think they're too lazy to walk around for an hour or two.

I think its more the first part. Theres alot of neighborhoods *I* wouldnt feel comfortable trick or treating in. Let alone taking the children, that i dont have, to. New Haven comes to mind, i think that was the #5 city with the most homicides in the US lol.

Not really. The local town I go to to get the mail is doing it. There's maybe 500 people and absolutely no crime. Just screams laziness.

I would tend to agree with you then. In that situation it does seem kinda foolish. If my town did that id feel the same way lol.

Especially considering the two towns that are no more than 10-15 minutes away on either side, both host massive trick or treats down main street.

Can you guys say underprivileged instead of low class please? Can you also replace it in your thought process? Thank You.

I'm not pointing fingers, nor am I offended, I promise. I'm only passing wisdom that was once passed to me, and in a kind question format. I thought that I replied to the thread. If that replied directly to you Raptor then you should know it was unintentional.

In which case, the person who passed on the wisdom needs to stop being so easily offended.
