    I didn't do anything to the log when I brought it home. Like Judy said, It's probably ok to put it in straight without cleaning it.

    I bought one of those thick, large grapevines today made by flukers. I am hoping that i can put it in so that it goes over her two hides. Has anyone used these in the past???

    I also bought some of those fake plant leaves that you can suction cup to the sides of the tank just to add some deco for my baby girl. Hopefully these things will stimulate her curiousity & get her cruisin around a bit.

    I have the large grapevine and some of those plants you suction cup on the sides.
    Ozzy seems to dig them. I took some long vines of plastic plants and wrapped around the vine so he could hide thru it and suction cupped plants on the back and sides to give more privacy.
    He seems to enjoy getting behind the leaves of the plants when he is on the vine.

    I was wrong, by the way, the vine i got is made by exo-terra.
