I think we have all drawn up plans for dream homes god knowns I have several time. Camping is cool when it warm out. And all of us with kids out there know what time we spend with them watching them grow teaching them all the things they need to survive in life. Thanks judy. Everyone that has ever read anything that I have wrote said it is some pretty good stuff. And your right about finishing it is sometime the hardest part.

I like to write too. Philosophy, fiction, and on my research. I was just published in an ENT journal called The Laryngoscope this month. More hobbies: volunteer firefighter, Zen meditation/practice, sports of all sorts, and obviously my new friend Ellis whose care has been my most recent preoccupation.

I like to write too, well only love letters to Kevin Bacon, as I am stalking him and all. Does that count?

I know what you mean! I used to go watch bands play all the time, and my boyfriend has been in a few different bands so I still go with him sometimes. But a lot of the bands I used to go see are big bands now playing in arenas with huge ticket prices. My boyfriend refuses to pay a lot of money to see a show/concert, but I'll still go sometimes, depending on who it is.

As far as my hobbies, my job takes up most of my time, but my main hobby is gymnastics. Even that I can only do once a week; there is an adult class I go to that's taught by my coach from my competition days.

I also like to read, and this may seem juvenile, but my favorite books right now are Harry Potter. What can I say, I'm an elementary school teacher. I'm also reading some books by John Wooden, if you know who that is (I went to UCLA).

I like to go to movies, but I haven't done that since December, and I have an annual pass to Disneyland, so I go there sometimes. I watch a lot of tv, certain shows I watch religiously. Other than that, work keeps me pretty busy!

I have a bunch of hobbies. I paint in my spare time, usually using watercolors or acrylics, but I'm dabbling in oil painting too. I like to get out in nature whenever possible; I usually hike the woods behind our house. I also love horses, and my boyfriend and I are making plans to get two soon. I grew up in the city (Buffalo) but now I guess you could say I have become a country girl, hehe. I like gardening too. I like to go see small band shows, as Marla said I usually don't blow money on hugely inflated big-ticket bands. My other hobby is studying the occult, reading ghost stories and stuff like that. Oh, and I do target shooting with a .22 rifle. And I collect frogs and Breyer model horses. I also LOVE to read, especially nonfiction nature books or fiction horror like Stephen King.

Gen and Gin, we should probably see if we can give each other good tips on smaller bands to see when they're touring. :) And Gen, don't feel bad about the Harry Potter books. My entire household resisted reading them because they were so trendy until a friend gave us the first three. Then my older daughter read them and talked me into it and by the time all was said and done, we were at the store the first day book four was out. ;) We even went to see the first movie on opening night, the only movie I've ever done that with. We've even gotten all the grandparents to read the series.

Good Marla, I'm glad I'm not the only Harry Potter person! :) What did you guys think of the movies? A movie is never as good as the book, and I was a little disapointed with the first two movies, but they were still okay. I'm hoping the third movie will be better, Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite of the books so far. The new trailer is out, and it looks pretty good.
