One of the issues is where to put him while I finish school/am living in an apartment with someone who does not like/accept dogs. If I can find a place to board him (perhaps the place he is living right now) it would make my life easier.

Also, there is one other person that has expressed interest in adopting him. I may be able to talk to her and I assume that she would be happy to let me take him. If she doesn't, I will kindly remind her that she had to give up her (much smaller, much less demanding) dog at the end of the summer because she couldn't give him the time and attention he deserved.
