There is usually not mixing them up with a regular Fire.

i would agree with there is generally no mixing it up but

while i dont see YB in the sire's belly
the dame certainly isnt so either he is a low expression YB

but yet its easily spot-able in the hatchies

so either its something they will shed out after a couple of sheds those pics were all taken after there first sheds

or there is something else at play and i just haven't put my finger on it yet

its a shame the original breeder of the fire didn't speak much English he was sold as " very good fire " in best dutch / German accent

either way this is the second clutch he has produced with the same results

and i have fingers crossed it was him that had her a clutch from a very bright pastel in the incubator as well with 3 days left on the clock

and no i haven't cut them yet :O

All ball pythons can vary quite a bit and not every morph follows the perfect "guideline" markers either. Not all YB's have that definitive belly pattern. YB's as well as Fires also have a huge range of looks. That being said all Fire YB's don't look the same.

Hatchling 1,2,3 and I am sure 4 all have the typical YB belly pattern.

just checked the eggs from what will hopefully be his next clutch

one of them left a window in and well i can see bright yellow through it so fingers crossed ill know what him + pastel will do depending on odds i guess lol
they all separate easy so another few days i reckon original estimate of the 26 is looking good

my first 2 clutches and ive ended up with head scratchers

sorry but ill probably be back for more help

mind you i have had john berry try and id a couple of my royals i have 1 which even he is unsure of showing signs of been gravid to my other pastel

as far as this clutch goes as they are all popping male i wont be keeping them well yes and no my misses is having 1 ( the little ringer ) and 1 has been reserved by the sires original owner

really just trying to figure out what the label the others as so i can sell them on and give people as much info as i can :)
i know crystal plaice reptiles over here is selling fire/YB's for £450 which seems way over priced to me and these look miles brighter than there site picks

but any way thanks for the help :)

over all im assuming 1 fire fly , 2 pastels , 1 normal , 1 more ringer didnt get pics forgot to take them of the last 2

still not sure why his clutches keep throwing ringers out guess ill wait for them to shed / get my light box set up for some clear'er pics

My friend has a really nice fire that looks a lot like your boy - he also sires some beautiful babies but there is definitely no yb in his genetics. Out of interest do you know the original breeder of your fire?

I'm not seeing the YB either.

Your sire reminds me a lot of my Fire - and he's "just a Fire" that I picked up from Justin Kobylka.
