OP I don't see you probe. If it is on or near the RHP ignore this if it is under the paper...
I would NOT EVER use a probe placement where a snake or furniture can come between the heat source and the thermostat probe. This can lead to a heat spike. Usually a dangling method is used I think this is more important in terrestrial non basking species. RHP usually are used with basking animals or arboreal where the thermal gradient goes vertically not horizontally. What will happen if the hide is moved over the probe with the snake in the hide? The hot spot will over heat. My radiant heat panel (reptile basics 28w) run unregulated at 10 inches produces temps of 120º on the floor this is too hot for a hot spot and with the probe obstructed it is unregulated. It will take nothing to test remove the snake and place a plastic container cover with a spoon full of pudding over the probe (analogue for snake tissue) wait 20 min and measure the temps surrounding the cover. UTHs are many times easier to control than RHPs in TERRESTRIAL set ups and as neither heat air they basically are the exact same, as Royals do not bask.
oh yeah..i see the tb...but this looks thick, so where would I put the heating pad and also....how did you get your light inside there?
the flexwatt gets taped directly to the bottom of the cage the cage is thick but the flexwatt heats it just fine unless you have a really cold room then you might need to add a radiant heat panel i would start with the flexwatt and see what your temps are then if needed add a radiant heat panel. when i ordered my enclosure from ap they installed the screws for the light. all you need to do is just add the light to your cart and it will come with the screws in place and you just run the cord through the supplied hole and place it on the screws and slide it to the side and your done.
