Lol I spent probably close to $500 on just the single packages at walmart and I bought a huge collection off of ebay for $1800 which consisted of a little over a thousand cards if I remember right. I have all the original ones plus most throughout the other series, an amazing amount of the japanese cards, lots of holo legendaries, the whole collection of arceus cards which I didn't buy off of ebay I was extremely lucky to find them in packages which just shows you how much I bought. My favorite one I will never sell is my Rayquaza gold star card :) That I did buy for about $80 alone. But alot of mine are the very original cards in great condition which makes them worth alot plus with none of them being trainer cards or energy cards....I hated those and threw them away....I have over 3,000 out of around 5,000 english cards? maybe less cards with no repeats. My repeats were sold on ebay or craigslist, or if they were useless and weren't worth anything I gave them to siblings.

LOVE Pokemon! Still play the old red and silver on the emulators on my computer every once and a while. Always wished they would make an actual console game that was the same style as the hand held. XD Gales of Darkness for the Gamecube came close but didn't quite get it right.

Well, I 'love' Pokemon, but only the first 'season' (Red/Blue/Yellow), and tolerate the second one (Gold/Silver).
I bought a NDS Lite just to play Pokemon Black when it came out, and even tho I had a blast, I was disappointed with how easier it is compared to the older games (I like old-style hard games), and it's not just the fact that I'm older and felt that the game was easier, I have RED/BLUE/YELLOW emulators on my computers, on my 3DS and on my Graphic Calculator (YES, I SAID CALCULATOR :D ), and still find them harder than the Black
Anyway, I got really hooked up with Pokemon in 1997 or 1998 and was a massive die-hard fan, I collected EVERYTHING (well, not really, but lots of stuff) that came out from Pokemon, but lost all the interest during the second phase (gold/silver), IDK.
Proof of my Calculator :D

I KNOW that the schematic I was drawing has a huge error, no need to point it out :D

This is the main team I use for Black and White. I used to play red and yellow but it's really hard to follow considering I think it's pretty lacking in story. I think they've really stepped it up in terms of story telling (which I'm a huge fan of) with the later installments and made me feel justified level grinding and finding new pokemaaaans. I also used to collect cards when I was little but when I moved out of the house, parents sold 'em and kept the money. >:C
On a side note, gonna try and start a nuzlocke challenge pretty soon here so that should be pretty interesting!
