    My lesser does this all the time. Not a big deal since the bottom of the tub is 89 degrees. Just lower your temps.

    I've got a little cinnamon who has a scrap of newspaper she uses for a hide. She doesn't like the plastic ones. Some of them are just like that.

    I don't think it's a problem. It might just be that they just feel safer under the paper towel. More secure because they feel the paper towel on they're skin.

    My het albino boy when he was real small would hide under his papertowels. He grew out of it though.

    5 out of 8 of my snakes like crumpling up the newspaper and using is as a sort of brush hide. Then just chill half in half out of the plastic hide while underneath he crumpled newspaper. I think they just like it cause it feels like that "making a fort" feeling back when we were kids. All of my snakes are bebes too.
