just stuck her head out of the warm hide, took a drink, and retreated back in. Just figured I'd post this up cause I've heard some people say they've never even had the chance to see them drink..

The are so cute when they drink. Their little lips touch the water an you can see them suck up water. If they have a clear container you can see them stick out their toung. Such amazing animals and they are all at our fingertips.

I can't really speak for everyone & I Know that I have only had Hissy for a couple weeks, but she seems to hate water. I know it sounds wierd but I swear, she crawls on her water bowl a lot but never lets her body touch the water & anytime she gets hit with mist when i mist the tank she hisses. The closest I see her come to takin in any water is either when she roams the tank at nite & rubs on the back wall that is still wet with humidity or sometimes she likes to lay with her head resting on one of the humidity mats that i have in her tank. Other than that, she seems to try hard to avoid water.

Yeah same with mine, maybe its because we have babies.

I use to never see Ozzy drink, but now I catch him especially after a big meal.
I gave him a bath/soak the other night and that was the first thing he did was drink his bath water ( silly snake ) stick his head under for a few and then he was ready to go.
He isn't to much a water type snake.
Just a big old land lubber.

I've seen Sophie drink on several occasions, usually right after I change the water. Must prefer fresh water, what a picky girl!

The first thing that Sphinx did when i brought him home was to take a long drink of cool water. It was one of the neatest things i've ever seen.
