Re: ? Is this a quality Black Pastel?
    Hi,

Well I like the colour but the pattern is less typical than I would go for if I'm honest.

I'd prefer more squiggles in the alien heads and higher white on the sides.

Also more of a floating pattern rather than the keyholes.

    Sorry.

I say it's average at best. It's not as busy as I would like in a BP. And by not as busy I mean lack of squiggles in the alien heads that are signature of BPs.

Pattern could be busier, but she does have a lovely dorsal stripe. I'm a sucker for stripes.

She's not bad but not great. As has been said, I'd like a busier pattern on a black pastel. I have a 1.1 pair and they both have super busy patterns with the male having a ringer on his tail...but they're also both het for axanthic, if that factors in at all with their respective patterns. I don't have pics of them at the moment but if I were you, I'd save my money and wait for one that blows you away...unless you're happy with her in which case by all means, buy her up, lol! That particular morph is affordable enough and has enough availability I would personally wait on a better example...but that's me and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so go for it if you like her.
