Yea there are lots of threads regarding DIY racks on here. I just finished one up for myself this past weekend. All you need is a supplier for material.

I appologize I didn't mean to hijack the thread. Just curious too, I keep my house pretty cold during the winter time...we're talking around the 60-65 mark lol I get warm very easily. So for my BP would it be more advisable to stick to my tank set up or will a tub still be sufficient...I know the ambient works a little different with tubs.

my fiance got a nice rack , and I just picked up 2 racks from cinderbird ( sam) over on fauna ) but it seems she forgot to tell me the one rack had 15 turned sideways to fill up front and the thing was saying 32 quarts tubs) so I am now trying to find 32 setrile tubs ( cheap) cause I need 4 of them minium )
At my mothers palce I using home build racks they work great and are very strong ( but they really heavy and I found out you better assemble them in the room they gonigo t spend their worknig life lol) I might cut the one down into a single tub set up ( cause I could always ) sneak in into the house and use it as a QT rack with the tubs I have lol.. I hope some of my other tubs can be used to fill in the rack spaces for my lol.
plastic racks are lighter but can be just as hard to move if not careful since twisting and dragging accross a lot can weaken or even break the joint ( or rip out the screws)
