Other Hobbies

I'm in the model horse hobby: I paint commission pieces for people and paint my own models for resell (using airbrushing, pastels, charcoal, and acrylic paints). So I turn a solid white sculpture and paint them to turn them into these (some recent examples of customer's commissions):

I would say tattoos are another "hobby" since I'm getting a large piece done and have other pieces and my car which I still need to modify more (done the custom paint job on it myself and did performance mods, it just needs some more finishing before it's "done")

Those are just beautiful, I love seeing them! Maybe you should do a new thread with a bunch of your work!

Fishing has been a huge hobby of mine for years now, and now I'm getting heavy into hunting. This year I'm bow-hunting for the first time ever, and am hoping to bag at least one big doe whitetail. I've had a few shots I could have taken, but they were young ones and small so I passed while it's still early in the season. Later this winter, I'm hoping to do some small game hunting as well. The goal is to get a few small game pelts to tan and use for tying flies for fishing. I'm also beginning to get into carving bone hooks for even more focus on "all natural" flies.

I play a dozen or more instruments with varying degrees of proficiency. I play guitar and harmonica about every day at the moment. When I get my own place I'll be practicing more didgeridoo, but for now I'm sparing my neighbors on the other side of the duplex.

I'm also a serial hobby-er. I take on small hobbies to try out for a fun shorter-timeframe experience without the need to incorporate it into a lifelong passion. I have a few hobbies to keep and hold near and dear, but that doesn't stop me from trying to brew beer one winter, or enjoying kite flying without being serious about it. If I were to list all of the "hobby activities" I've pursued in the past 5 years, this would be a much longer post.

i love to hunt. i really enjoyed goin to the gym and liftin.. until i tore my rotator cuff. :tears: now since I'm back in school full time and i work full time i hardly have a life. lol hopefully i can get some white tail hunting in over winter break.

I am starting to get into hunting and I play soccer currently as a goal keeper for my team. Those are my secondary hobbies.

I hunt/fish/trap, make sawdust attempting various woodworking projects and am attempting to learn to play guitar. I read a lot when I'm not working and shoot for fun and competition as well as hunting. Most anything outdoors...not much of a gearhead but I used to buy and repair small engines (single cylinder projects, 4-cycle and 2-cycles both) and then sell them once I'd rebuilt them. My house is over a hundred years old, so it's its own hobby in a way, lol!

I love cruising on my motorcycle, hunting, fishing (finally got my own bass boat this year), mountain biking, lifting weights(I'm a gym rat), sleeping, and occasionally smoking one of my nicely aging cigars. I also play guitar but haven't played seriously in awhile.

Ill have to get some new ones, after I downloaded iOS6 I lost all my pics of it. It's still in the bodywork stages, but we have about $7k under the hood. Should be over 300hp.

Besides the snakes , my other hobbies are I train and compete with my dogs in schutzhund. I also have a couple of horses that love to ride
