Absolutely right, Beagle. "Wanna kiss muhself, huh!"

Marla, I've thought about the video approach, and I'm thinking that's probably the way to go. I'll have to give it a try soon.

Pimp_n, he's barely more than a hatchling. He's feeding on large pinkies right now, but he should be ready to bump up to fuzzies in a few weeks.

David, the humidity in his cage consistently stays between 82 and 94 percent. If you'll remember my last post, I was concerned about it being too high. Since you first warned me about the aspen, I've been checking it daily. Any damp spots are removed and replaced promptly, and once a week I remove all of it and put in fresh, dry aspen. I'm sure your right in that paper towels or newspaper would be easier, but his breeder kept him on aspen, and my concern is that he be as comfortable and secure as possible. Besides, he likes to burrow in it sometimes. :)

Iceman, his eyes do look pretty freaky in that photo, but there's nothing scary about him. He's as sweet as they come. :D

Lookin' forward to seeing it/them. :) My roommate has a digital camera that makes short movies, so I may try to make one or two myself soon.

How big and round do they get?

They average 5-6 feet, but sometimes get up to 8 or 9. The breeder told me to expect him to reach about 5 feet based on the size of his parents and because he's male (the females are larger). Most of the care sheets I have use metric weight and say a 2 meter (6.5 feet) snake will weigh between 4 and 8 kilograms, which roughly translates to between 9 and 17.5 pounds.
