what happened to James Brown? Did he go through a midlife crisis or something?

he had some drugs, alcohol, and emotional/physical abuse for his spouse all pent up inside... unfortunately it came out one evening through the top of his head (disheveling his usually perfect hair do) thankfully the police that had come to arrest him snapped this quick photo (see Beaglegod avatar)
