Any chance you miscounted the days/date? I've heard of it happening.

I've had a hand full of dragon eggs "spring leaks" and I would take a bit of vermiculite and pack it ovet the hole. Every egg I had like that hatched. The most impressive one was an egg I found split almost in half, to this day I still can't figure out how it split. I thought for sure I was gonna lose that egg but I put it back together and it hatched out just fine.
