The rats arent frozen for very long. I would assume even high volume breeders kill to order alot. I wouldnt keep a frozen rat for longer than a year. I usually buy 2-4months worth of rats at a time. Id eat hamburger that has been frozen for 2-4months. They really arent that much healthier.

All of my snakes are on Frozen Thawed, but switching a few over has been a giant PIA. Most switched pretty readily after a couple of offerings. Others went on hunger strikes for 4-6 weeks before switching over...

I have 3 snakes and i feed live personally, but im always sure to stay and watch till the snake atleast has already started swallowing the rat just incase something were to happen, i started with frozen but it was always a pain to get them to eat and prepare it then i tried a live once and she went after it right away and i have not had any troubles since, but like i said i do always stay to watch just to make sure a rat doesnt get aggressive lol

I don't think that f/t or p/k or live is going to make any difference as far as your snake being healthy. As long as they are eating, that's what matters. Me personally, I have some that eat live, some that get p/k. That's easiest for me. Do whatever works for you and your snake, he will be fine. :)

Proud and happy frozen feeder. My babies grab is ravenously too.
