lol i also force my hubby and kids to go to all the reptile shows and store around here. well, the kids love it. hubby is starting to come around. he was holding my female pastel the other day and i caught him talking to her... then proceeded to tell me he thinks she likes him because he is holding her alot more lately.

My husband was kinda stand offish at first, but now he even calls one of them his own. He even offers to walk to the pet store to get feeders.. Aww :)

Technically mine was 0 seconds, I bought 2 on my first transaction... but one was a gift for my GF.

Hers turned out to be cool, mine turned out to be a butthead, yet I still keep buying more. Welcome to the addiction eh?

I dont quite remember when I got my second, but I got my first I think it was July of last year, and now I have 14, hopefully soon 15....

3 weeks, well I put the deposit down on him. I get to pick him up Monday :D

My first snake in July. Second one in August. Third at the beginning of this month.

Here's what happens a lot I think...

You get a snake as a pet and after the purchase you hit the web to make sure you're providing the best care possible. You find a website like this and you're like WHOA... A WHOLE WORLD OF BALL PYTHON MORPHS

Then you read about racks and you're like WHOA I COULD KEEP 10 SNAKES IN THE SPACE I KEEP 1

Since they eat so infrequently and are generally low maintenance you're like I COULD CARE FOR MORE, YEAH

Then you see the insane morph combos that are outside your price range ME LIKEY, ME WANT

Then it clicks. You could BREED YOUR OWN. THE INNER SCIENTIST IN US ALL IS TINGLINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG



It's all downhill from there...
