    Thank You Guys for Input..

    I have older version of Herpstat 1 and I'm planing to use it for my DIY Incubator... and with different sizes of heat tape in by sweater box and my future hatchling rack i need something what can control them independently.

    With same Price Looks like I will go with Herpstat 2

    I guess an alarm can be called a safety feature so it has one that all the competition have but the Helix. It is unfortunate that VE choose to copy a 30 year old design and ignore all the innovations that follow after the Helix.

    Great info here guys. I was also on the fence on which to get. I guess for running two different racks (adult and juvie), the herpstat 2 is the best way to go.
