I was wondering if someone could explain or help me out with the whole HET thing. Does this mean that when that snake breeds it will produce a certain number of albinos? Do you have to breed het to het or can you breed het to normal? Do you get albinos from albino to albino?

Marla
Albino x albino = albino
Albino x het = albino + het
Albino x normal = het
Het x het = albino + normal
Poss het x poss het = poss het + albino if you are lucky
Het x normal = poss het
Poss het x normal = poss het
Poss het means it MAY be carrying a gene for a recessive trait but it looks like a normal
Het means it came from an animal definitely displaying the recessive gene and a normal, het, or poss het animal and therefore IS carrying the recessive gene OR it has been bred and produced a recessive offspring
Does that help?
