Thanks. I was hoping she would have been a large female, and ready to breed. However, I don't think she will be ready anytime soon. I might try around mid to late 2013. Granted she is a female...

Glad she seems like shes on the track to a new loving home.
My gf knew that i have snakes and shes knows i will never give them away unless i can no longer take care of them in the proper manner. She knows that when we start looking for a house we need to find a place that allows snakes because if they cant come i cant come. It really pisses me off about stuff like this, a relationship is about compromise not demands. My gf does not like going into the reptile room unless im in there because she knows how serious i take my hobby, and she doesnt want to risk damaging something or w.e. but shes more than happy to come in when im in there, shes likes coming into the room more now that my GTP started the color change.
I want a boa so badly, but the gf does not want me to get one, im ok with, her worry is that yes some female boas can get big and she knows reptile room is starting to get crammed, and i do hope to breed my balls so, i would need the little space left for more racks. But she did say, when we get our own house i am more than welcome to get a boa, because there will be more room for my reptiles and she even said i can have the whole basement for my reptiles in our own house. so see every relationship needs compromise.
compromise and trust is the base for a relationship IMHO

    Thanks for sharing Instinct.

When you two do find your house, try and make sure the basement will contain a great heat source. Luckily for my basement, it was already finished, and insulated. I run an electric heater with a fan during the day, and turn it off at night. Basement stays a nice comfy 80 during the day.

Your g/f sounds cool, and hopefully she doesn't change her mind once the house thing becomes serious. Also, there is a wanting when letting the bf/husband get his things.

My friend's g/f for an example. Anytime he wants a new rifle/gun, she better have a ring on her finger.....He has four rifles now...she doesn't have her ring yet. But, they have a house now.

SO.....lol, she may let you have all these things, but keep in mind, she wants something too...

I have a friend that wants to give me her 6-8ft red tail...with the cage for free...my wife wants a new fossil purse. You see the theme here? lol

Re: Another Adoption, plus a question.
Not a chance it hell of me giving away my 10 year pet for a girlfriend.... My gf loves my bp which is great, but she knows even if she hated it and wanted to move in with me that she would have to get used to the idea of living with a snake.
