    You can either use a thermostat just like with a heat mat, or get the right wattage/regulate down with a lamp dimmer.

    gotchaaaa. alrighty well i guess im gonna return the heat mat i got for the cool side.. keep the thermostat i bought for it and buy a 60 watt CHE with a dome. thanks for all the info everyone!!
