Yes, wait another week. They can go a long time without food a few weeks doesn't really matter. Keep trying F/T for 2 or 3 more attempts, then if you don't have any success try pre-killed or live.

3 weeks isn't too long for a baby ball, but I would try to get him back on a weekly schedule as soon as possible. If he doesn't take the F/T in the next 2 weeks then I would go out and get a live hopper mouse. Sometimes all they need is a live meal or two and then they will start taking F/T no problem.

Also another thing you could try is smaller hides. You want hides that the snake barely fits into and touches the snake on all sides. They like to cram themselves in small spaces and it makes them feel safer. The safer they feel, the more likely they are to eat.

Goo Gone will get that residue right off.

I would try to feed in a few days since it has not eaten. If it was started and has been eating f/t I would stick with it. Waiting won't hurt either though.

I place moss in a hide that is to large to make it seem smaller. Easy fix since you already have a nice hide and trying to find small ones can sometimes be a pain.

Alright I will wait a week. That will also give him time to get used to the changes. I guess I will replace his current hide until he gets bigger as by what your saying it is a little on the large side, I will also add another one. Any suggestion on household materials for a good hide?

Also the hygrometer is currently fluctuating between about 53 and 54%. Is that too low? What can I do to help increase it if it is. Only half the lid is screen the other half is wood. I know I have been launching the questions rapid fire but I want to get everything right for him as soon as possible so he can get comfortable and so I can get him eating. I appreciate the help.

In the 50%'s is a good average. Raising it during shedding to about 70 percent helps the snake shed better. it is normal for most ball pythons to go "hunting" at night, nso don't worry too much.

If you have an old solid coupled Tupperware you can cut an opening... If the hide looks too big mash up some newspaper to fill it some, and make him feel more secure..

Any container that is short and doesn't allow the light to get through will work. Granola bar boxes can works pretty well.

What I do during shed is get the moss I fill the hide with damp to create a nice humid micro climate.

So I have gotten the temp and humidity close to right and am waiting on the thermostat. I went and bought two plastic dog food bowls and cut holes in them for new hides. However I realized that the plastic is thin in some places and so they don't completely block out light. To solve that problem I was going to spray paint them black. Do I have to worry about the paint being harmful to him?

As long as you let the paint completely dry then it should be fine. I would suggest that you use the kyrlon plastic paint.
